We visit your home on an agreed schedule – at least twice a month – fixing issues we find on the spot, or scheduling a specialist should one be needed. Each visit, we run through a checklist that includes:

• Move any mail or packages inside
• Check property perimeter and exterior are secure
• Water plants
• Inspect windows and doors for signs of entry
• Check for pest activity
• Visually check exterior and roof
• Check for signs of water incursion and damp
• Ensure gutters are intact and clear
• Ensure sump pump is in operation
• Check HVAC mechanicals and thermostat
• Check refrigerator and freezer operation
• Check major plumbing for drips and leaks
• Check clocks and log any power outage
• Ensure pool and hot-tub covers are secure
• Check other exterior buildings, storage bins and fixtures are secure
• Check and exercise generator, if needed
• Check for storm damage and arrange for tree removal
• Arrange snow removal and deal with ice-jams

We log everything we find and provide you with a detailed report so you can rest assured your property is in great condition. We will also visit to close or reopen your home, making sure it’s ready for your next adventure.

For Shore homes, we also:

• Check dock and moorings
• Check decking and railings
• Check for signs of sea water incursion
• Rinse dock and deck with freshwater if needed
• Check pool and spa covers
• Inspect walkways and beach access
• Check flagpole and replace flag if needed
• Inspect moored/stored boats and other watercraft

We hold an active NJ Boat License and ASA 101-105 sailing and navigation certifications. If your boat needs moving or ferrying, we are qualified to handle it.
